PointsBet Launches in Pennsylvania, Becomes 11th Sportsbook in State

PointsBet is going live in the state of Pennsylvania.

It’ll be the 10th state for the sportsbook, after launching in New York to kick off the New Year.

PointsBet comprised less than 5% of the overall market share in New York during a record-breaking month, but that was due to a late start.

Along with the Empire State and now Pennsylvania, the book is up and running in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia.

PointsBet is also live with BetSync, our proprietary tool that’s as simple as it sounds, automatically tracking and monitoring your wagers placed at a sportsbook in our Action Network app.

PointsBet will join a handful of other books in PA. The barrier to entry is high given the big licensing fee, so only the major players are available right now.

  • DraftKings
  • FanDuel
  • BetMGM
  • BetRivers
  • Barstool
  • Twinspires
  • Unibet
  • Betway
  • Betfred
  • Fox Bet

PointsBet Offers for New Pennsylvania Users

PointsBet is offering new users $205 if any quarterback in the Super Bowl throws for at least 9 yards — as no-brainer an offer as it gets.
