Jameson Taillon’s start got pushed back due to the rain, but I am going right back to his under here. This projects as a brutal strikeout matchup for Taillon, who has struck out just 16.3% of righties this season, and while the Brewers projected lineup has just four lefties, two of those lefties have strikeout rates below 18% against right-handed pitchers since the start of last season.

Justin Verlander came through for us in this same matchup yesterday and he racked up six strikeouts.

Logan Webb is a pitcher with much more strikeout upside and a longer leash. At RotoGrinders, we project Webb for nearly seven strikeouts, as the Guardians’ projected lineup has six hitters with a strikeout rate of 26% or higher against right-handed pitching since the start of last season.
