Colorado won its second straight game last night, topping Miami, 3-2, and now goes for the series sweep on Wednesday.
Live MLB odds list the Marlins as -155 favorites for today’s matinee and 86% of bettors are backing Miami thus far.
But how are the sharps approaching today’s game?
Are they buying Colorado’s recent success or is there value with Miami instead?
According to Action PRO, now is the time to buy low on the Marlins.
BetMGM opened Miami at -135 in this matchup before wiseguys slammed Miami, driving this line up to -155 as of the time of writing.
Specifically, sharps have steamed the favorite six (!) separate times, explaining why this number has moved so drastically.
For those curious, steam refers to sudden, uniform line movement across the market and is often the result of bettors with the resources and respect to move odds getting down on the same side of the same game at multiple sportsbooks, all at once.
