MLB Odds: Best Home Run Picks for 6/2

Tonight’s MLB slate may be smaller than usual, but it still offers some hot home run betting picks, highlighted by two standout bets priced at +850 and +1060.

Our proprietary PRO Projections system identified a couple solid home run edges Monday by cross-referencing player performance projections, current betting markets and detailed statistical data. This approach helps uncover value bets that casual bettors might overlook, and PRO subscribers get access to all our projection models.

Tonight’s best home run picks to lock in are in Dodgers vs. Mets and Rockies vs. Marlins.

Let’s check out a couple of home run odds tonight well off our predictive numbers.

One of the key insights from PRO models tonight is a noticeable fade on Dodgers starter Dustin May.

The Dodgers play in a hitter-friendly ballpark. PRO MLB models, meanwhile, are skeptical of May’s ability to suppress power against the Mets.

There appears to be several worthwhile edges Monday with the Mets’ offense.

A particularly intriguing sleeper pick is Brett Baty at +850 (bet365). While the Mets’ home field is typically challenging for home run hitters, Dodger Stadium — the ballpark for tonight’s game — is widely regarded as one of the best parks for homers, and the Dodgers’ pitching staff has been vulnerable to the long ball of late.

In fact, the models project roughly 0.17 home runs for Baty, presenting a solid betting edge close to 6%.

Another excellent bet to round the bases tonight is Keston Hiura of the Colorado Rockies at +1060 odds (FanDuel) against the Miami Marlins. Hiura, once a standout college hitter, struggled to make a consistent impact with the Brewers but shows strong upside tonight, according to the PRO models.

With a +6.2% edge on FanDuel, Hiura is the top choice in the Rockies vs. Marlins game to park one.
