Today’s matchup between the Twins and Mariners doesn’t exactly scream “low-scoring affair” based on the starting pitching matchup, but both of these offenses have been underwhelming of late.
Across the last 14 days, Seattle ranks 18th in wRC+ against right-handed pitchers, and Minnesota is even further down the list, ranking 22nd.
Seattle isn’t as pitcher-friendly of a venue during the day, but it’s still not a plus for offense.
Runs could be at a premium early in this game.
