Brit Devine’s Rockies vs Rangers Pick, Betting Analysis
I would normally be finding ways to attack Rangers starter Patrick Corbin, but against the Rockies, that script is going to flip. The Rockies have been one of the worst teams in MLB history to start the year, generating little to no offense while giving up runs at a blistering pace.
They have a run differential of -132, easily the largest in the league. Corbin is getting groundballs and is really limiting hard contact so far this year at one of the best levels in the league. He’s the better pitcher here today, and even without Corey Seager in the lineup, the Rangers’ offense is light years ahead of what the Rockies offer up.
The Rangers should be able to get more than a few runs across while the Colorado bats continue to do next to nothing.
