Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is starting to heat up and he is one of my favorite bats of the night against Guardians left-hander Logan Allen.
We are getting a very solid price for Guerrero to go over 1.5 total bases at -105. He has a strong history against left-handed pitching, boasting a .399 wOBA and .239 ISO since the start of last season.
Guerrero has a solid .280 ISO against lefties this season along with a strong 68.4% hard-contact rate.
Allen was awful against righties in 2024, coughing up a .407 wOBA and .268 ISO; while he has shown some improvement this year, I’m simply not buying in and he’s still allowing a 46.2% hard contact rate and the BABIP for righties is just .266.
