Tonight’s NBA Play-In Tournament slate features the Dallas Mavericks facing off against the Sacramento Kings in the late window. It’s a win-or-go home situation where we expect fireworks.

Tonight, we are expecting Anthony Davis to have a monster game. In his career against Domantas Sabonis, AD has averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds across 14 games.
It’s simple, his physicality owns Sabonis. Tonight, I see things going the exact same way. Get AD the ball in the post and let him work.
The Mavericks also have their roster set up to do some damage tonight, where if AD is posting up, they have enough shooting ability between Spencer Dinwiddie, PJ Washington, and of course a Hall of Fame sharpshooter in Klay Thompson.
This will truly limit how often the Kings can double-team Davis.
On the rebounding end, facing off against a fast-paced Kings team, expect Davis to get a ton of opportunities to crash the glass.

Spencer Dinwiddie’s assist line goes hand-in-hand with AD having a great game. In a recent game, Dinwiddie had 10 assists in tandem with a 32-point Davis performance.
The pick-and-roll will be key to their success tonight as well.
