NBA Prop Bets for Stephen Curry, Ja Morant on Tuesday, April 15

The Memphis Grizzlies face off against the Golden State Warriors in a high-octane matchup for the rights to face off against the Rockets as the 7-seed in the Western Conference Playoffs.

Neither of these teams expected to be in the Play-In Tournament, but in this star-studded matchup, there will be plenty of player prop angles. Read below for my NBA player prop picks for Warriors vs. Grizzlies on Tuesday, April 15.

Stephen Curry went absolutely bonkers against the Grizzlies last time out, dropping 52 points, but it isn’t easy to replicate that performance.

Memphis may deploy a different defensive strategy to get the ball out of Steph’s hands and force him to be more of a playmaker as well.

Another swing for Curry is that in the playoffs he sees a spike in his rebounds. While this is his first -layoffs with Jimmy Butler, Butler may be banged up after banging knees with Kawhi Leonard in the season finale.

Additionally, Curry gets to kickstart more offensive possessions if he grabs defensive rebounds.

It’s a strategy Kerr has employed previously, and Curry averages 5.6 rebounds per game over his last four postseasons, compared to five rebounds per game over his last four regular seasons.

His Rebounds + Assists line (RA) is set at 10.5, a number he’s exceeded in 54% of games when he’s played at least 30 minutes this season.

Pick: Stephen Curry Over 10.5 Rebounds + Assists (-115)

Ja Morant is the head of the snake for the Grizzlies and he should see extended minutes and usage in this contest.

After the Memphis Grizzlies let Taylor Jenkins go, they made a clear choice to refocus their offensive strategy around Morant.

Before the firing, they had the fewest ball screens and high pick and rolls since 2013. That is where Morant finds the majority of his success.

This matchup has been exploitable for Morant as well. Outside of a December route of the Warriors, he has played at least 30 minutes in every matchup against the Warriors since 2021. He’s exceeded this 33.5 PA prop in 8-of-9 games, including a 36-point, 6-assist performance on April 1.

Morant’s speed and elusiveness in the pick and roll has been effective against the Warriors, and I expect that to continue tonight.

Pick: Ja Morant Over 33.5 Points + Assists (-125)

[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Zach Edey Rebounds Overs” subtext=”Warriors vs. Grizzlies, 10 p.m. ET” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nba/100/mem.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nba/odds/memphis-grizzlies” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”” trailinglink=”” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]

Since Edey has been unshackled from Taylor Jenkins’ rotations, he has crushed. He’s played 27+ minutes in 7-of-8 games, with the one miss being due to foul trouble. He has pulled down double digit boards in 6-of-8 games and is averaging 13.4 rebounds per game.

The Warriors are middle of the road in rebounding percentages, but Edey secured a whopping 16 rebounds on 24 chances against them on April 1.

I have some slight concerns that if things are going sideways or he is being attacked defensively that the hook will be shorter in this Play-In format. However, his rebounds are a viable parlay piece.

Pick: Zach Edey Over 10.5 Rebounds (-130)
