Right now, the books are hanging prop lines for Kawhi Leonard in this matchup, but I am doubtful he plays against the Mavericks tonight.
Leonard hasn’t played both games in a back-to-back set literally all season, and although they have been ramping up his minutes in general leading up to the postseason, there’s no reason to start playing back-to-backs leading up to the postseason, given there’s no back-to-backs in the playoffs.
Kawhi was limited to 23 minutes on Friday night, but I still don’t see any reason for the Clippers to suddenly push their superstar with the playoffs right around the corner. I’ll be hitting the escalator for Harden.
