The Blue Devils will play in their 18th Final Four in program history, and Duke has reached the National Championship 11 times in program history. The Blue Devils have won five national titles, including their most recent one in 2015.
This Duke team hasn’t been tested in the tournament thus far, as it’s won all four games by seven points or more. The Blue Devils rolled past Alabama 85-65 in the Elite Eight.
Future first-overall pick Cooper Flagg leads the Blue Devils with 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Wisconsin native Kon Knueppel has averaged 14.4 points and 2.8 assists per game.
Tyrese Proctor has enjoyed a strong season and has been outstanding in the tournament. Proctor has averaged 12.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
Houston has a record of 34-4. The Cougars will be playing in their seventh Final Four in program history. Houston has reached the National Championship twice, losing in back-to-back years in 1983 and 1984.
The Cougars posted an impressive 69-50 win over Tennessee in the Elite Eight. Kelvin Sampson’s team has been dominant all season, losing just one game in regulation, going 19-1 in Big 12 play and claiming yet another conference regular season championship.
They’ve won 17 consecutive contests, and their last loss came on February 1, in overtime against Texas Tech.
Senior LJ Cryer leads the team with 15.4 points per game. Emanuel Sharp has averaged 12.7 points and 3.0 rebounds a night. Finally, Milos Uzan has added 11.6 points per game and 4.4 assists.
