I’m staring an epic #DadLife Saturday right in the face.
My wife is tied up working all day, so I’m on out the door by 8:30 a.m. ET (hopefully) for a loaded morning of kids sports and activities.
Because I doubt I’ll be home by 12 p.m. ET, I went ahead and took advantage of Action PRO’s tools to handicap Saturday’s college basketball odds and find the smartest picks for today’s early slate of games.
Right off the bat we have TCU vs. Cincinnati at 12 p.m. ET (ESPN2) that is popping with two of my favorite Action PRO value indicators — Sharp Action and Model Projection Edge — aligned on the same college basketball pick.
College Basketball Odds, Sharpest Pick for TCU vs Cincinnati
*Odds as of Saturday morning
Cincinnati is a 6.5-point spread favorite against TCU according to the latest college basketball odds.
Further, spread betting is relatively balanced with 55% of bettors taking the Horned Frogs and the points.
When it comes to the wiseguys, they’re loading up on underdog TCU as well.
The Horned Frogs opened at +8.5, and as mentioned above, have been bet down to +6.5 thanks to three separate waves of sharp action hitting +8.5, +8 and again at +7.5.
There’s no denying this line has already moved significantly, but even at the current number of +6.5 Action PRO’s Projections suggest there’s still meat on the TCU bone.
Our data projects this line at TCU +5.2, translating to a 4% edge when compared to the widely available +6.5.
And finally, while most sportsbooks are at TCU +6.5, bet365 is a half-point better a +7, providing even more value for those willing to take the points in this matchup.
PRO Pick: TCU +7 (-110) — bet365
