The Washington Commanders (12-5) will meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7) on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, for a Wild Card weekend matchup in the NFL playoffs at 8.00 p.m. ET on NBC.
Continue below for my Commanders vs. Buccaneers player props for Wild Card weekend.

Only one team has allowed more receiving yards to tight ends than the Bucs, who have given up an average of 67.2 yards per game.
That bodes well for Zach Ertz, who’ll have every opportunity to hit the over here. He has become more important in this offense in recent weeks; he has five or more receptions in each of the past two weeks and has an average of 58 yards per game.
Ertz’s season average sits at 38.4 yards per game, but given how the Bucs have struggled to deal with tight ends and Ertz’s increased usage in recent weeks, we should see the veteran used as a key part of the offense again.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Jayden Daniels Over 49.5 Rushing Yards (-120)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/was.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nfl/odds/washington-football-team” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/bet365″ trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
It’s been an incredible rookie season for Jayden Daniels, who is surely a lock for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Daniels has been great with his arm, but he’s also been efficient on the ground, which we’re tapping into for this game. Daniels’ rushing average stands at 52.4 yards per game, just ahead of his line at 49.5.
He’s covered it in three of the past four games — the only exception being Week 18, in which we only briefly saw Daniels. Not only that, but when these teams met in the opening game of the season, we saw Daniels rush 16 times for 88 yards, with the Bucs blitzing him regularly.
Daniels has been clutch all season, and with the season on the line, we’re going to see him put the team on his back again so the chance of more rushing attempts is very plausible.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Olamide Zaccheaus Over 38.5 Receiving Yards (-110)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/was.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nfl/odds/washington-football-team” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/859377_Bet365@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/bet365″ trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
At the start of the season, Olamide Zaccheaus was an afterthought in the Commanders’ offense.
However, that changed as the season progressed — since the Week 14 bye, he’s become integral. That four-game spell has seen him average 60.5 receiving yards per game, and he’s scored three times in that span.
Now he’s the No. 2 wideout in the offense, behind Terry McLaurin. All recent evidence points to Zaccheaus being a big part of this team, and this matchup on Sunday takes the Over.
[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Baker Mayfield Over 0.5 Interceptions (-115)” subtext=”” center=”false” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/nfl/100/tb.png” link1=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/nfl/odds/tampa-bay-buccaneers” link1follow=”true” logo2url=”” link2=”” link2follow=”true” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/477013_DraftKings@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/draftkings” trailinglinkfollow=”true”][/subheader]
With a total points line of 50.5, we expect plenty of touchdowns.
This being a close game, the Bucs are three-point favorites, and there’s a real chance that this game develops into a shootout. If we see a shootout with the season on the line, we will surely see both quarterbacks take risks.
The Commanders’ defense hasn’t been the best at forcing turnovers, but with Baker Mayfield throwing 16 picks in 17 games, we could see the 29-year-old turn the ball over again. Across the past six games, he’s been intercepted seven times, with only one game seeing him not throw a pick.
He will be taking risks in this shootout, so back the Commanders’ defense to intercept one of his passing attempts.
