After placing his bet and hitting “spin”, William watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.
Then, a jackpot message appeared saying he had won $113,411. “Big congratulations to William, who rang in 2025 with a MASSIVE win on our $1 Lightning Link slot machine on New Year’s Day! He played just $75 to hit the Grand Jackpot of $113,411!” the casino said in the post’s description on X.
Rampart Casino is about a 15-mile drive northwest from the Las Vegas Strip.

A Northern California player won $250,650 at a Buffalo Link slot machine on New Year’s Day.
The unidentified player hit it big at the Thunder Valley Casino and Resort in Lincoln. The casino shared a picture of the winning machine on its X feed and a description that read: “New year. New thrilling jackpots! This lucky guest bagged a life-changing $250,650 jackpot on Buffalo Link!.”
