Conference championship week is officially in the rearview mirror, which means we have three things to look forward to for the remainder of the 2024-25 college football season: bowl games, the College Football Playoff and Action Network’s Group of Five All-Americans.
“Big Bets on Campus G5 Deep Dive” hosts Mike Calabrese and Mike Ianniello came together to dish out their top players at the Group of Five level following the 2024 regular season.
Highlighted by Offensive Player of the Year Ashton Jeanty of Boise State and Defensive Player of the Year Shaun Dolac of Buffalo, the list aims to honor the best of the best outside of the power conferences.
In fact, Jeanty showed just how good players at this level can be with a season that put him in the top two of the Heisman Trophy race.
