Saturday College Football Bowl Projections: Brett McMurphy’s Updated CFP Predictions, Bowl Picks

We’re one day out from Selection Sunday and the unveiling of the College Football Playoff bracket and the bowl pairings.

So far, there already have been five bowl matchups announced: Hawaii (USF vs. San Jose State), Salute to Veterans (South Alabama vs. Western Michigan), Frisco (West Virginia vs. Memphis), Bahamas (Buffalo vs. Liberty) and Boca Raton (Western Kentucky vs. James Madison).

My next update will be following Saturday’s conference championships. See ya then.

These projections are based on the following conference champions: Oregon (Big Ten), Texas (SEC), SMU (ACC), Arizona State (Big 12) and Boise State (Mountain West). If any of those five teams don’t win their conference championships, then these projections might as well have been drawn in sand on the beach at high tide.
