In my projected College Football Playoff field, I have Oregon coming in as the top overall seed as the Big Ten champion, followed by Texas as the SEC champion, Miami as the ACC champion and Colorado as the Big 12 champion.
Oregon remains No. 1 in my projected CFP field because of the Ducks’ head-to-head win over Ohio State. My No. 12 seed is the highest-ranked remaining conference champion, the Boise State Broncos out of the Mountain West.
In my projected field, the Big Ten and SEC each get three at-large selections: Ohio State, Penn State and Indiana for the Big Ten and Alabama, Ole Miss and Georgia for the SEC.
Independent Notre Dame also cracked the field as my No. 7 seed.
Meanwhile, BYU’s upset loss to Kansas dropped the Cougars out of my projected field in favor of Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes, while Tennessee’s loss to Georgia knocked the Vols out of the 12-team bracket.
