NFL Touchdown Odds, Longshot Picks: Week 9 Best Bet

We’ve been on a roll with our Sunday NFL touchdown picks — racking up roughly 30 units in the last three weeks — by using Action PRO data. Long shots in particular are right in our experts’ wheelhouse.

In Week 6, Sean Tucker (+700) helped bettors scoop up over 14 units. And just last week, Xavier Gipson (+1800) found the end zone in the Jets game, reiterating how clutch NFL experts Sean Koerner, Nick Giffen and the rest of our predictive analytics team are.

We crunched the numbers, checked the odds and already dished out our holy grail of touchdown picks you can find here. Among Sunday’s Week 9 TD predictions is a long shot at +2100 being heavily overlooked in Raiders vs. Bengals.

The Bengals offense has struggled to field a healthy unit lately. Wide receiver Tee Higgins is doubtful to play, and backup Charlie Jones also popped up on the injury report.

If an unheralded player steps up for quarterback Joe Burrow Sunday in Raiders vs. Bengals, don’t be surprised if it’s tight end Tanner Hudson.

He’s been well behind other players at his position in snap count recently, but he just returned a few weeks ago from injury so he’s still gaining his footing in the Bengals offense. The juiciest factor is the price.

Hudson’s odds to score (+2100 at FanDuel) imply about a 4.5% chance. PRO Projections are fairly higher, flagging Hudson for a 9% chance to get in the end zone.

He’s the biggest payout across recommended projection edges Sunday of NFL Week 9.
