Updated Stanley Cup Final, Conn Smythe Odds After Game 2

The Edmonton Oilers will return home in a 2-0 hole after the Florida Panthers won 4-1 Monday night behind more excellent goaltending from Sergei Bobrovsky. The Panthers are understandably favored to win their first Stanley Cup after outscoring the Oilers 7-1 through the first two games. Florida is -580 to lift the Cup while Edmonton is +420.

The teams face off in Game 3 on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, with Edmonton favored on the moneyline (-130) despite being down in the series. The Panthers are +110.

Meanwhile, Bobrovsky is favored to win the Conn Smythe at -155. He stymied the New York Rangers to lead the Panthers into the Stanley Cup Final, and has picked up where he left off, allowing only one goal in the first two games against Edmonton.

Aleksander Barkov — who took a hard, high hit in the third period and did not return —  has the next best odds at +250. He’s followed by Connor McDavid at +600.  McDavid finished third in the regular season in points (132) but has been limited to a single assist through two games. Matthew Tkachuk (+950) and Carter Verhaeghe (+1600) round out the top five.
