The Kentucky Wildcats will be motivated in this bowl matchup, as they will likely be missing only one starter compared to Clemson’s five, all of whom play on the defensive side of the ball.

If the Wildcats are going to be in this matchup as expected, we can count on Ray Davis to make an impact. Davis put this Kentucky team on his back this season, running for over 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns.

He not only racked up yardage but also found paydirt in nearly every game this season. Davis scored in 11 of his 12 games this season for a staggering 92% hit rate.

That hit rate gives us implied odds of -1150 that he’ll score in this matchup. That’s more than enough value to make this bet, but it also helps that he should have success against the Clemson defense as well.

The Tigers ranked 52nd in yards per rush allowed and 46th in opponent red-zone scoring percentage. Meanwhile, Davis led the Wildcats to the 20th-best mark in terms of yards per rush.

All signs point to at least one Kentucky drive that ends in a Davis touchdown.

Pick: Davis Anytime TD (-125)

[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Oregon State vs. Notre Dame”][/subheader]

[gameheader haspick=”false” league=”ncaaf” awaylogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/ors.png” awayname=”Oregon State Beavers” awayslug=”oregon-state-beavers” homelogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/nd.png” homename=”Notre Dame Fighting Irish” homeslug=”notre-dame-fighting-irish” date=”Friday, Dec. 29″ time=”2 p.m. ET” network=”CBS”][/gameheader]

[subheader text=”WR Silas Bolden” subtext=”Over 56.5 Receiving Yards” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/ors.png” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/477013_DraftKings@1x.png” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/draftkings” trailinglinkfollow=”false”][/subheader]

This Oregon State offense is going to look very different in this bowl game against Notre Dame. The Beavers are going to be without their top two quarterbacks, their starting running back, their starting tight end and their second-leading receiver.

Who’s left after all of these absences? Silas Bolden.

Bolden led the Beavers in receptions this season and finished tied with for the lead in yardage. While he will be one of the few starters left for this matchup, his production should lead to an uptick in usage.

In addition to this, it’s not like their replacement quarterback is inexperienced. Ben Gulbranson started the final eight games in 2022, and he would be wise to lean on Bolden.

Bolden averaged 59.8 yards per game this season and cleared this total in six of his 12 games this season. With a big uptick in expected opportunities, he should crush this spot.

Pick: Bolden Over 56.5 Receiving Yards

[subheader sizedown=”false” text=”Missouri vs. Ohio State”][/subheader]

[gameheader haspick=”false” league=”ncaaf” awaylogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/miz.png” awayname=”Missouri Tigers” awayslug=”missouri-tigers” homelogo=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/osu.png” homename=”Ohio State Buckeyes” homeslug=”ohio-state-buckeyes” date=”Friday, Dec. 29″ time=”8 p.m. ET” network=”ESPN”][/gameheader]

[subheader text=”QB Brady Cook” subtext=”Under 218.5 Passing Yards” logo1url=”https://static.sprtactn.co/teamlogos/ncaaf/100/miz.png” trailinglogourl=”https://assets.actionnetwork.com/122955_FanDuelSportsBook@1x.jpg” trailinglink=”https://www.actionnetwork.com/online-sports-betting/reviews/fanduel” trailinglinkfollow=”false”][/subheader]

This matchup has been wild from a line movement perspective, as we’ve seen large amounts of steam hit both sides. However, after all the movement, it appears we finally have a feel for who’s in and who’s out.

A big development is the fact that Ohio State will have only one significant opt-out on the defensive side of the ball. That means its defense will be at nearly full strength, which is bad news for Missouri quarterback Brady Cook.

Cook will go up against a unit that ranked first in the nation in yards per pass allowed and second in opponent completion percentage. So, While Cook faced the best of the SEC, this may be his toughest matchup of the season.

Cook went under this number in half of his 12 games this season, and four of the six unders came in conference play against stout defenses. If Ohio State’s defense shows up, it will be a long day for Cook through the air.

Pick: Cook Under 218.5 Passing Yards
