The most important thing to know is over the month of November, teams will face off in a series of tournament games with the top eight teams advancing to a single-elimination tournament that culminates in a championship game in Las Vegas.

Nov. 7 Update
After the first set of tournament games, the Bucks (+500) are now slight favorites to win the in-season tournament followed closely by the Celtics (+550) and Nuggets (+650). Despite not playing a game in the tournament, the Suns (+900) are the only other team with odds shorter than 10-1 on the board.
The Celtics (+800) are the favorites to win the NBA In-Season Tournament, based on odds from FanDuel. However, the Bucks and Nuggets (+850) are not far behind on the odds board. The Celtics (4-0) currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference and the Nuggets (4-1) are tied for the second-best record in the Western Conference. The Celtics and Bucks are also the only two odds-on favorites to win their respective groups.
