Both the Knicks and the Hawks suffered hard-fought losses in their openers and are looking to pick up their first win of the season against each other. Instead of taking a side, I like the over in this matchup.

The Hawks’ star duo of Trae Young and Dejountae Murray can’t play much worse after combining to go 7-for-30 from the field on Wednesday. Likewise, the trio for the Knicks (Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett, and Julius Randle) only shot 30% combined against the Celtics.

I trust these-two offensive minded teams will fill the box score tonight.

This line has been interesting to track because initially the Rockets were favorites but have since been downgraded to underdogs. I faded them against the Magic the other night, but I liked what I saw, especially from new addition Dillon Brooks, who made four 3s.

The Rockets just have more offensive firepower and seasoned veterans than the Spurs.

The Nets lost their first game of the season to the Cavaliers by one point. They looked solid offensively led by Cam Thomas, who this season may finally see consistent minutes.

Dallas made strides to improve defensively heading into this season but still didn’t look great against the Spurs. I think the Nets have a better offense, and I think these two teams easily clear 230.

I took the Magic in Game 1, and I am riding with them once again here over the Trail Blazers.

The Magic were tougher and more physical than the Rockets all night long. Cole Anthony chipped in 20 off the bench, not to mention the Magic barely needed Paolo Banchero, who only attempted 6 shots.

I will continue to ride this train until it burns me.
