UFC 289 Market Report: Pros Backing Mike Malott, Dan Ige

The UFC heads north to Vancouver for UFC 289.

Amanda Nunes and Irene Aldana headline a loaded Main Card. This high-stakes showdown between the dominant champion and the rising contender has fight fans buzzing with excitement and eager to witness history in the making.

Aldana is getting a significant amount of action at BetMGM. She is getting 78% of the bets and 81% of the handle as she has fallen to a +260 underdog after opening at +275. Nunes is -350 to win the bout.

Beneil Dariush is a -150 favorite after opening at -125 against UFC veteran Charles Oliveira. Dariush is getting just 27% of the tickets and accounts for 35% of the money coming in.

Mike Malott appears to be getting some sharp money as the -210 favorite over Adam Fuggit. Malott is getting 48% of the bets and accounts for 71% of the handle at BetMGM.

Dan Ige also appears to be getting backed by the sharps as he’s received 46% of the bets and a whopping 90% of the money for his bout against Nate Landwehr. Ige opened at -230 and is now -250.

Eryk Anders and Marc-Andre Barriault are set to kick off the main card. It could be one of the most even battles of the night. Anders, at +115, is getting 56% of the tickets and 57% of the handle while Barriault is a -140 favorite and getting 44% of the tickets and 43% of the money.

If you want to tail the sharp action, Malott and Ige appear to be the best bets of the night.
