Check out my favorite NHL player props for the Kraken vs. Stars on Monday as the second-round series concludes with Game 7.

The stakes are high for this elimination game (8 p.m. ET, ESPN), and we’re targeting a variety of player prop bets for both the Seattle Kraken and the Dallas Stars.

NHL Player Props for Monday, May 15

Vince Dunn Anytime Goalscorer (+800), Adam Larsson Anytime Goalscorer (+1100), Adam Larsson Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (-125)

Team vs. Team Kraken vs Stars
Puck Drop 8:10 p.m. ET
Best Line FanDuel, BetRivers

The Kraken’s top defensive pairing of Vince Dunn and Adam Larsson is one of the main reasons they have gone on this surprising postseason run.

Vince Dunn has put up 12 shots on goal in the series and is the significantly better offensive skater. Adam Larsson, however, has poured on 31 shot attempts in the series and has also had 12 shot attempts reach target.

The Kraken continue to move the puck up the wall from high to low finding Dunn or Larsson. Both have also shown a strong willingness to jump up as the fourth man in the attack off of the rush, as we saw from Larsson when he scored in Game 5.

Tonight sets up to be a closely contested game in which both teams will likely not offer up much in the way of true defensive breakdowns. On a lot of the in-zone plays tonight, the Kraken will likely be forced to settle for point shots from distance. That makes me want to target their top two defenders, who are playing huge minutes effectively this postseason.

Roope Hintz Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-140)

Team vs. Team Kraken vs Stars
Puck Drop 8:10 p.m. ET
Best Line FanDuel
Roope Hintz has been the driving force behind the Dallas offense this postseason with 18 points in 12 games. He has been a dynamic offensive force, creating both off of the rush and down-low off of the cycle in the offensive zone.
He has put up 21 shots in six games versus Seattle in a series that has featured an abnormal amount of blowouts. Hintz has played only 20 minutes of time on ice a single time in this series.
Tonight will likely be a close and hard-fought affair. We can count on Hintz, Joe Pavelski and Jason Robertson playing well past their series average of time on ice in most game scripts.
Whether the Stars are able to come away with the victory in this huge spot or not, I’ll bet Hintz’s play stands out. Over 2.5 holds strong value even at -140.

Pick: Roope Hintz over 2.5 shots on goal (-140)

Philipp Grubauer Under 29.5 Saves (n/a)

Team vs. Team Kraken vs Stars
Puck Drop 8:10 p.m. ET
Best Line n/a

This pick is a lean, as I am estimating where the betting total will be set. Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger’s line is up at 26.5, and I think that it is safe to assume Grubauer’s total will either be two or three saves higher.

If the answer is 29.5, I think this will be a good bet. Seattle has defended fairly well in this series and all postseason long. The Kraken have allowed an average of just 28.3 shots per 60 to the Stars in this series.

This Game 7 will likely be tighter defensively from both sides than the majority of this series, and I believe if Grubauer’s prop is close to where it’s previously been set, we will have good value here.
