Forte, which was the Kentucky Derby favorite, was scratched on Saturday morning, shaking up the odds board just hours ahead of tonight’s race.
According to Kentucky Derby odds, Forte was listed at 4-1 prior to being scratched, with Tapit Trice (6-1), Angel of Empire (6-1), Two Phil’s (8-1) and Derma Sotogake (8-1) rounding out the list of favorites.
But, as you can imagine, removing the favorite from the field has had a significant impact on Kentucky Derby odds.

Kentucky Derby Favorites
With Forte no longer in tonight’s race, both Tapit Trice and Angel of Empire have shot to the top of the Kentucky Derby odds board as the new co-favorites at 9-2.
Two Phil’s and Derma Sotogake are knotted with 7-1 odds while Kingbarns is alone at 10-1.
Kentucky Derby Longshots
Cyclone Mischief and King Russell, both 33-1, have the longest odds to win the Kentucky following Forte’s scratch.
Jace’s Road is just a bit shorter at 32-1, with Sun Thunder and Raise Cain (both 30-1) the only other horses with Kentucky Derby odds of 30-1 or longer.
