A Full List of Problem Gambling Helpline Phone Numbers by State for Sports Bettors

At the end of most sports betting ads, there is some sped-up audio about the numbers you can call for help with problem gambling. Unfortunately, they’re read too fast to actually get the number into your phone in most cases.

So we compiled a list of all the problem gambling hotlines available in each state.

The 1-800-522-4700 is a helpline for the National Council on Problem Gambling, but many states offer their own version of a gambling hotline more tailored to bettors in their areas. If your state is not listed or you cannot reach your local helpline, call the national number and they will assist you.

Some states do share problem gambling helplines — 1-800-GAMBLER is New Jersey’s, but seven other states also use it.

Most helplines are available 24/7.
