There’s a betting algorithm developed by Action Network that has won 65% of the time over a lengthy sample size.
The system was developed by Brandon Anderson and targets specific parameters that are all conducive to this contest between the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears.
An ancillary betting system to this one — which tweaks one of the parameters — has won 73% of the time since 2013.
$500-per-game bettors on the 65% system would be up more than $15,000 in less than a decade. The second, 73% system would have $500 per game bettors up over $13,000.
We don’t recommend using these algorithms as an alternative to investing — variance is much less forgiving in sports gambling compared to the financial markets — but similar principles apply in regard to profits over a long time horizon.
Eagles vs. Bears 65% Profitable Algorithm Prediction
The betting system targets home underdogs of seven or more points in a game with a high total.
“High total” indicates a total above the key number of 44.
Teams under these parameters have gone 83-45-2 (65%) against the spread since 2013.
When that total increases to 48.5 or higher, the sample size reduces drastically; but so does the win rate, which rises to the aforementioned 73%.
Teams that are home underdogs of seven points or more with a total of higher than 48 are 49-18-1 (73%) since 2013.
All of these parameters fit the Bears‘ spread at a market-best price of +9 (-107) at PointsBet.
Do keep in mind that betting systems inherently work best when you wager on every single game that fits the algorithm. Over the long run, they’ve proven themselves. In the short term, variance is a constraint.
So, make sure to follow up and bet on this system every time it lights up for the rest of the season.
PRO Picks: Bears +9 (-107) or better
