A whole slate of action is on the board, meaning your Friday college football picks can come from across the country.

Nebraska will take on Rutgers in the Big Ten while a number of Group of Five games will be played, including Houston vs. Memphis.

Let’s look at where sharps are deeming the value lies in this week’s Friday night college football games.

Odds and data as of Tuesday afternoon.

Friday College Football Picks

Nebraska vs. Rutgers

7 p.m. ET

The Cornhuskers beat Nebraska last week after being demolished by Oklahoma, 49-14, and sharp bettors feel like Nebraska can keep that momentum going in their third game without Scott Frost.

This line opened at -1.5, but a wave of money coming in on Nebraska, particularly from sharp bettors, has already bumped this line by a point.

While 61% of the wagers against the spread have been placed on Nebraska, 91% of the money is on that side, indicating the biggest bets have come in on the Cornhuskers.

Our data shows there is a good chance this line moves further, so if you want to get on Nebraska, there’s value in doing it early.

Pick: Nebraska -2.5

Houston vs. Memphis

7:30 p.m. ET

It hasn’t been a pleasant run for the Cougars, who are now 2-3 and face a game against the team at the top of the AAC, but that’s not scaring sharps off of Houston.

Only 26% of the spread bets have come in on Houston, but 80% of the money has. That’s essentially as big of a gap you’ll get in tickets versus handle, and the fact that this line has moved toward Houston gives you a good indication that the money coming in heavily is respected.

Pick: Houston +3
