Now we’re rolling.
With both college football and the NFL underway, we’re officially in it now.
Yes, the NFL returned last week, but because Week 1 odds had been available since May, there wasn’t much urgency for bettors to spend time and resources handicapping professional over college football.
But that won’t be the case anymore, as bettors will be pouncing on early odds value for the rest of both respective seasons.
And when it comes to college football’s Week 3 slate, these three games are already attracting oodles of professional betting action.

Oklahoma vs. Nebraska Pick
12 p.m. ET | FOX
Oklahoma vs. Nebraska odds movement has been a bit crazy this week.
The Cornhuskers are off to such a poor start that they fired head coach Scott Frost shortly after last weekend’s loss to Georgia Southern.
Now, Frost’s firing isn’t surprising in the least, but the fact that the school could have saved $7.5 million in buyout money if it waited until Oct. 1 speaks volumes.
Nebraska clearly wanted Frost gone, so much so that money didn’t matter.
On the other hand, respected bettors are buying Nebraska for Saturday’s game against Oklahoma.
As recently as Sunday night, the Huskers were listed as two-touchdown underdogs against the Sooners.
However, thanks to sharp money, that spread has been pummeled down to between +10.5 and +11.5 (click here for live college football odds) across the market.
In addition, the Action Network’s college football public betting data is reporting that the Huskers have landed 60% of the money wagered on this spread, but on just 37% of the tickets.
The combination of Action Labs’ Bet Signals, the latest betting splits and live odds movement confirm that big bets from professional players are taking a large early position on Nebraska in this matchup.
PRO Report Pick: Nebraska +11.5

Buffalo vs. Coastal Carolina Pick
1 p.m. ET | ESPN+
Buffalo vs. Coastal Carolina is lower-profile game than Oklahoma vs. Nebraska above, but the early-week betting has been eerily similar.
Buffalo hit +19 against Coastal Carolina on Sunday evening, and that’s exactly when the wiseguys struck.
Seven (!) separate waves of smart money came crashing in on the Bulls, forcing oddsmakers to react by adjusting this spread all the way down to +14 as of the time of writing.
And just like Oklahoma vs. Nebraska, the bets-vs.-dollars discrepancy here is massive.
Buffalo has attracted a slight minority (46%) of the spread tickets to this point, but those bets represent 96% of the loot.
There’s no denying that while most casual bettors have been reacting to NFL Week 1, wiseguys have been quietly pounding Buffalo in this matchup.
PRO Report Pick: Buffalo +14

Ohio vs. Iowa State Pick
2 p.m. ET | BIG12/ESPN+
Shall we make it three double-digit dogs catching the eyes of sharp bettors?
We shall.
In this case, Ohio leaked into Monday morning as a 21-point underdog before pros scooped up the Bobcats and the points.
Sharps steamed Ohio at that number and it’s safe to say that oddsmakers quickly took note.
This spread has dropped to a consensus of +17.5 across the market as of Tuesday morning, however, PointsBet is still at +18 for the value-minded bettors out there.
PRO Report Pick: Ohio +18
