The Toronto Raptors will be playing their second game in as many days when they travel across the border Thursday to face the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philadelphia will be without the help of Joel Embiid again, as the star big man remains sidelined due to COVID-19. Matisse Thybulle will also be out for the Sixers, but Tobias Harris and Seth Curry have a chance to return.

Toronto could also be missing some key players, as Pascal Siakam and Khem Birch are unlikely to play. The Raptors have been struggling as of late, losing three in a row and failing to account for the lost production of Siakam.

Despite it being early in the season, both teams have firm playoff aspirations. The 76ers currently sit in fourth in the conference and the Raptors are in ninth.

Here’s how sharps are projecting the Eastern Conference showdown to unfold:

Raptors vs. 76ers Sharp Action

Our NBA Pro Report indicates sharp action is coming in on the under. Considering all but seven teams in the league have a 51-plus percent under cover rate, it’s not surprising to see sharp bettors go back to the well, but the public isn’t buying in.

Though 68 percent of the public is backing this matchup to go over the number, only 48 percent of the money is on the over, triggering our “big money” signal on the under.

Will the under trend remain consistent or will sharp bettors get burned?

PRO Report Pick: Total Under 210.5
