Now they’ll draw the 2-seeded Kansas City Chiefs, who the Titans beat 35-32 during the regular season.
This will be Tennessee’s first AFC Championship Game appearance since the 2002 season, when they lost to the Raiders. At stake for Mike Vrabel’s squad? The second Super Bowl appearance in franchise history — the first came in the 1999 season, when the Titans lost to the Rams.

The Chiefs’ postseason run looked like it was trending toward a premature end when the Texans took a 24-0 lead in the first quarter of their Divisional Round matchup. But Kansas City scored 41 unanswered points to regain the lead and eventually secure the victory behind a superb game from QB Patrick Mahomes.
Now the Chiefs return to the AFC Championship, where their 2018 postseason run ended in a loss to the Patriots.
