Sharp Money Hits Bears-Vikings After Nagy Confirms Starters Will Play

Throughout the week, folks were unsure whether or not the Bears would be “giving it their all” against the Vikings on Sunday. Matt Nagy put an end to that discussion on Wednesday.

Nagy stated that the Bears “aren’t going to hold back” and the only way they would rest their starters in the second half would be if the Rams held a big lead against the 49ers.

The betting market took notice, as Sports Insights’ Bet Signals triggered a Steam Move on Bears at +5. Already a popular play this week with 72% of bets, Chicago, which reached +6.5 at one point, is down to +4.5 around the market, and even to +3.5 at some books.

The initial line movement clearly had a large chunk of the betting population confused as nearly 75% of bettors grabbed the Bears plus all those points.

Minnesota is essentially in “must-win” territory, but that apparently hasn’t swayed the minds of most people. In fact, home teams in “must-win” situations have been poor bets against the spread.
